After many months of preparation the MSAA Board of Directors will present to the members a newly developed set of By-Laws perceived to address the mission and vision of today’s MSAA. Committee Chair Dale Schaetzke will review the articles of this document with the members and answer any questions regarding its content. Discussion to adopt the newly crafted governing regulations will follow.


Massachusetts STATE Auctioneers Association, yes it is a mouthful, not to mention we are technically a COMMONWEALTH. It has been suggested in recent Board Meetings that “Massachusetts Auctioneers Association” be a shorter and perhaps more appropriate title for our professional association. This change would not be a difficult endeavor and could be accomplished with a few official filings. What do you think? Attend the meeting and voice your opinion. It’s Your Association!



Our official logo; actually we now have two logos in use, one official and popularly published. The outcome of a name change proposal will determine if we need to develop something new similar to what we currently utilize, or opt for something totally different. If the present MSAA name remains we still have to select one of our current logos as our official trademark.

MSAA News: 8-14-06 By agreement between Michael Salvadore and Dale Schaetzke and with the unanimous consent of the Board of Directors both gentlemen resigned their positions, Dale resigned as Director and Mike resigned as Treasurer and then accepted appointments by the Board of Directors for the remaining unexpired terms as follows: Dale Schaetzke as Treasurer and Mike Salvadore as Director.
