Susan A. Doyle, CAI, ISA, of Pleasant Valley, N.Y., is a director for the National Auctioneers Association .

Doyle was elected to the Board of Directors of the National Auctioneers Association in July 2002.

Sue will share her knowledge and experience in a seminar addressing the hot topic of “Real Estate Auction Marketing.”*

Doyle is a real estate broker and president of Absolute Auction & Realty, Inc. She conducts approximately 75 auctions per year in the special interest areas of personal property, real estate and antiques. She is a certified appraiser and auctioneer, and a graduate of the International Auction School . She has been in the auction business for 22 years.

Doyle is past president of the New York State Auctioneers Association (NYSAA), and served on the NYSAA board for more than nine years, and was given the honor of Auctioneer of the Year. She has been a member of the NAA for 12 years.

During the first year of her three-year term on the Board, Doyle served as chair of Membership, vice chair of the International Auctioneer Championship Committee and the Long-Range Planning Committee and traveled to thirteen state association conventions speaking on a variety of topics. During the current year, Doyle will serve as Chair of the NAA Public Relations Committee and will be part of the Finance Committee and the Long-Range Planning Committee.

Her other volunteer work consists of Chairing her local Workforce Investment Board Business Services Committee, she is the Director of the Dutchess Community College Foundation, and is active in her church as a Eucharist Minister and Cantor.

Sue and her husband, Robert, have two daughters and two grand-children.
