Dennis K. Kruse, CAI, Vice President and President-Elect of the National Auctioneers Association .
Kruse was first elected director of the National Auctioneers Association at the 1999 50th Anniversary Convention in Michigan and was elected Vice President of the NAA in July of 2003 at the San Antonio, Texas Conference and Show.
Dennis will be delivering a motivational seminar to the MSAA convention attendees entitled “Energizing Auctioneers Transforming the Auction economy and Impacting the Auction World.” He will also speak about effective auction advertising. *
Kruse has been an auctioneer, real estate broker, sales manager, secretary and treasurer for Kruse Auction Companies in Auburn.
A member of the NAA and Indiana Auctioneers Association since 1964, Kruse is president of the Reppert School of Auctioneering, Inc. and a 1964 graduate. Additionally, he is a member of the charter class of the Certified Auctioneer Institute. Kruse is also past president of the Northeastern Indiana Board of Realtors.
Kruse is a current member of the Indiana House of Representatives and has been elected to seven terms of office. As a member of the Indiana House, he serves on the Ways and Means and Interstate Cooperation and International Affairs committees.
He is a graduate of Indiana University's School of Education. He held an Indiana Teaching license for five years. Kruse was chairman of the NAA's Political Action Committee and the Government Affairs Committee. He is a Trustee of the association's Education Institute.
Kruse has been married to his wife, Kay, since 1968. They have four sons, Matthew; John; Timothy; and Daniel. Kruse is an active member of the County Line Church of God, and serves on the Missions Committee as an elder. Additionally, he teaches adult Sunday school class. He has been a member of the Northeast Indiana Youth for Christ Board of Directors since 1968 and has been chairman of the board since 1988.
