Bill Sheridan was elected President-elect of the National Auctioneers Association (NAA), the largest professional auctioneers' organization in the nation, in July 2005
The election took place during the Annual Business Meeting at the 56 th International Auctioneers Conference and Show held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. More than 1,500 auction professionals attended the event.
Sheridan was elected vice president of the NAA during the 2004 55 th International Auctioneers Conference and Show held in Madison, Wisconsin. Bill Sheridan is also the 2002 Men’s Division International Auctioneer Championship (IAC). Bill traveled to many state association meetings while serving as director and vice president of the NAA as well as the 2002 IAC Champion.
As President and CEO of Sheridan Realty and Auction Co. he conducts livestock, real estate, and farm machinery auctions. Bill is a shareholder and Vice President of the Brokerage Land Co. based in Jackson, MI.; a statewide land marketing firm specializing in multi-tract land auctions.
Bill is also an instructor at Reppert School of Auctioneering, teaching Purebred Livestock Auctioneering and Agribusiness bid calling.
Bill Sheridan is the 1991 Michigan State Champion Auctioneer, and served as a Michigan Director from 1993 to 1997. Bill served as President of the Michigan State Auctioneers Association in 1997.
Bill is a member of the Mason Area Chamber of Commerce and numerous trade associations, including the National Association of Realtors, Livestock Marketing Association and the National Cattleman’s Beef Association.
Bill is in business with his son Doug and lives in Mason , Michigan , with his wife Sally. They have 3 children; Doug, Stacy, and Neil.
