Notice is hereby provided that the annual 2022 election of open positions of Director of Massachusetts Auctioneers Association will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 6 PM located at Ken’s Steakhouse, Framingham MA 01701.

VOTING: The election will be conducted by written ballot by US mail, said ballot to be provided in the second notice. Note: Election ballots to be returned by US Mail or in person day of election. Current 2022 paid MAA Members in good standing will be entitled to vote. Renewal MAA membership form is included in this mailing.
It is very important that you either attend in person or provide a completed Ballot and return by email / US mail, to ensure your vote is valid and counted.
CANDIDATES FOR THE BOARD: Any Auctioneer desiring to be a candidate for election to the board shall provide written notice to the association at the address provided therein by: a) Email: to b) Certified mail, return receipt requested; c) Regular U. S. mail; to PO Box 107 Shrewsbury, MA 01545. See attached Notice of Intent.
The written notice of your desire to be a candidate must be signed and received by the association no later than Friday May 20, 2022 which is 24 days in advance of the election.
The person desiring to be a candidate will receive written / email receipt acknowledging delivery of the written notice. There are 7 open positions for the June 2022 election.
Any MAA auctioneer in good standing may supply a copy of a one-sided information sheet not later than Friday May 20, 2022 by 3pm. The information sheet may be no larger than 81/2X 11 inches in size, describing the candidate’s background, education, qualifications and any other factors deemed relevant by the candidate. A copy of the completed information sheet will be provided to all eligible voters as part of the second notice of election.
